Survey

We visit your home to carry out a technical survey.  It gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.  The survey is always carried out by a trained installer, not a sales person.

During your survey we:

• Explain how the system would work.
• Explain how you would benefit from a solar system.
• Discuss how the feed-in-tariff operates.
• Take measurements.
• Check the fuse board and electrical connections.

Install

Installing solar electricity on your home is a straight forward process that normally takes three days.  On the first two days we install the solar panels on the roof.  On day three we install the electrical components.

Running

Totnes Solar will do everything we can to support you in setting up the feed-in-tariff payments. We notify your Distribution Network Operator and issue you with an MCS certificate. During the installation we help you make contact with your electricity supply company and will assist you with completing the necessary forms.

Once your system is installed, we will demonstrate how the system works and answer any questions you may have.
